Product Description
The MagPure™ 96-Well Plasmid Purification Kit is designed for efficient isolation and purification of high-quality plasmid DNA from bacterial cultures. It combines alkaline-SDS cell lysis with magnetic bead-based purification to support high-throughput sample processing.
Following bacterial cell lysis, the 96-well Lysate Clearance Plate removes proteins and other cellular contaminants without requiring time-consuming centrifugation. The cleared lysate is then processed using magnetic particles that bind nucleic acids under optimized conditions. Purified plasmid DNA can subsequently be eluted using deionized water or a low-salt buffer.
The purified DNA is suitable for downstream molecular biology applications, including fluorescent DNA sequencing and restriction enzyme digestion. A typical yield is approximately 10–15 µg of high-copy plasmid DNA from 1 ml of overnight bacterial culture in LB medium.

Purification Principle
The workflow combines alkaline-SDS lysis, lysate clarification, and magnetic particle-based DNA purification. Under optimized binding conditions, plasmid DNA associates with the magnetic particles. Washing removes residual contaminants, and the purified DNA is recovered through elution in a low-salt solution or deionized water.
