Hieff Trans™ mRNA Transfection Reagent is a cationic polymer transfection reagent specifically designed for mRNA cell transfection.

It provides high transfection efficiency for routine, primary and neural cells and is formulated to support efficient mRNA delivery while minimizing cell stress associated with serum removal.

The reagent can be added directly to the culture medium without removing serum, allowing transfection workflows to be performed without a serum-free step.

Following transfection, there is no requirement to remove the nucleic acid-transfection reagent complexes or immediately replace the culture medium. Fresh culture medium can be replaced according to cell nutritional requirements after approximately 4 to 6 hours.
