Product Description
Protein A Sepharose beads are prepared by covalently coupling recombinant Protein A to 6% cross-linked Sepharose beads. Recombinant Protein A contains five IgG-binding regions, while non-specific binding regions have been eliminated to improve specific IgG binding.
The optimized coupling technique provides high IgG binding capacity while minimizing Protein A leakage. The binding capacity is at least 16 mg of human or rabbit IgG per mL of wet beads.
These beads offer high chemical and physical stability, hydrophilicity, gel strength, and flow rate. They are suitable for IgG purification and immunoprecipitation applications.
